Thousands Lost Power in Queensland and Victoria Following Intense Storms
Nearly twenty-five thousand homes in south-east Queensland woke up experiencing outages on Monday's dawn after severe thunderstorms passed over the state, producing strong winds topping 109 kilometers per hour.
Massive Frozen Precipitation and Extensive Impact
Residents witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that different parts across the state had been affected by large hailstones.

At one point on yesterday, over 28k power users in Victoria were without power.

Moist weather were forecast to persist along much of Queensland's east this next several days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the shoreline.
Tomorrow was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential anticipated across multiple regions of both areas.

Medical authorities warned that there was an higher risk of weather-related respiratory issues across the countryside regions, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
This warning comes after previous incidents where comparable situations led to substantial respiratory problems in the region.
